Clunes Booktown Festival

Clunes, in central Vicroria, is already abuzz with preparations for next weekend's Booktown Festival.

The 10th Clunes Booktown Festival will take place in Clunes over both days of next weekend ... Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st.

Preparations are well under way for the expected 15,000 to 20,000 visitors to the town.

For more information on the Festival please click the link here.

To make the days even more accessable to potential visitors, three extra trains from Ballarat to Maryborough and return will run each day. Clunes is midway between Ballarat and Maryborough. For further train details click here for the Vline website.

Even though my partner Jon and I live in the Clunes community this will be the first Booktown Festival we will not be working in a shop situation (in either Clunes or Talbot).

However, we will have a presence in the main street with our Quince Farm produce of preserves, jams, jellies, sauces and chutneys. We will be under the verandah of Bread and Circus, 53 Fraser Street on both days.

We look forward to greeting many friends over the weekend.
