While Jon and I were running ‘Quince Farm Café’ at Talbot for about four years, between 2005 and 2009, and toward the end of our time there, some historical enactments were performed as monologues in the village square beside the cafe.

I was the actor who delivered some of those monologues, one of which was the Samuel Smiles story CELEBRATIONS IN TALBOT IN 1869.
